A Real Life Experience
When I was on the trial with some friends one day, time was running
short, my energy was running low and my Snicker supply was
exhausted. In order to make up time I decided to take a shortcut
down a steep logging road to return to the trail below. As I
started my descent I soon found myself out of control.
I tried my best to negotiate my falls to cause the least amount of
pain possible. I had to decide things like which direction should
I fall? On my seat? On my side? I stuck out my
arm to break the fall only to find that it sank in the deep snow and my
face now buried.
After several falls and getting back on my feet, I realized that the
fun I had earlier in the day had now been minimized from the harsh
struggle to get down that slope.
This event inspired me to develop the Ski-Trol® ski brakes.
